Tastes differ
- foreign countries, different customs
"Your offer for a two days stop in Tokyo promised to live
this city in a very unusual way, you forgot to point out, though,
(something we now can say you should have done!) that this unusual
way of living the city was equal to pure stress!! Our trip was not
supposed to be an adventure trip but a culture trip. Do you really
believe that it is to be defined a cultural experience when a taxi
bumps into your car in midst of the traffic chaos of Ginza and then
drives away happily without even stopping? That nobody tells you the
Japanese name of your hotel is rather different in Japanese language
and you'll probably have some problems in finding your way back as
policemen usually don't speak English? That, considering the rain
storms in this season, to be on the safe side you should always take
a bamboo cane with you in your car in order to test the depth of water
before driving through, otherwise your car will drown?
Tokyo by car - no thanks! Having read these facts you will certainly
not hesitate to reimburse us the rental fee for the car as well as
50% of the hotel costs, as we lost a whole lot of time on the streets
and hardly managed to reach the hotel."
